This is Mr. Herbison's 24th year of teaching and 22nd year teaching in Seattle Public Schools. Mr. Herbison is a native of Seattle and attended Seattle Public Schools, grades K-12. He graduated from Western Washington University for both his Bachelor's and Master's Degree. Mr. Herbison is married and has two children. Both attended Jane Addams! Mr. Herbison loves the JAMS community and strives to provide a safe and nurturing environment for both students and his colleagues.

Christie is a social justice advocate, and educator with endorsements in English, Reading, Special Education, and Visual Art. Christie graduated from Seattle Pacific University in 2004 with a B.A. in English literature and creative writing, and again in 2010 with a M.A. in teaching. Christie lived in Wallingford during some formative years and has fond memories of the neighborhood. One of her first teaching jobs was at Seattle Evening School, housed in the old Lincoln High School building.
