The Giving Room

The Giving Room is a place that new student-parents can shop for much needed resources like gently used baby clothes, toys, books, and gear, as well as new disposable materials like diapers, bottles, and pacifiers. If you would like more information, please contact Brenda at 206-252-6814.

Teen Parent Support Program

Seattle’s Teen Parent Support Program is offered at three Seattle family centers to meet specific challenges faced by pregnant and teen parents. These challenges include remaining in school and improving academic achievement, keeping their children in good health, providing a safe and secure environment for themselves and for their children, and providing for their basic needs.

Child Care Assistance

Child Care Assistance Program: The City of Seattle helps low- and moderate-income working families pay for child care for children ages one month to 13 years. Families can choose from more than approximately 135 licensed family child care homes and centers in Seattle, which contract with the City to provide high-quality and affordable child care.
