Judge Patricia H. Clark Children and Family Justice Center

The Judge Patricia H. Clark Children and Family Justice Center is King County’s youth detention facility. It is located in Seattle’s Central District. Youth attend school and have access to many programs and services while in detention. The focus is on rehabilitation and community safety. The goal is to help youth become healthy, productive adults.

Instructional programming includes:

  • Language Arts
  • Mathematics
  • Life Skills
  • Physical Education
  • Transitional services for Interagency students

As much as possible, teachers follow the Interagency Academy academic program, and assess and challenge students appropriately. There is a full gymnasium and a King County Library inside the facility.
