Principal Willingham Letter to Families

Dear Families, Caregivers, and Community Members!

Welcome to the 2023 – 2024 school year! I am so excited to experience this new year with you! The Gray Wolves at Interagency Academy is ready to inspire, love, and motivate your child to realize your innate gifts, talents, and abilities. We understand that meeting your child where they are in their education journey is essential for success. Therefore, as a school community, we will continue to learn about your child’s needs as an individual and create a post-secondary plan to help them realize their dreams. We have created a Home Health Care, Horticulture, and access to a GRADS/Early Child Care Pathway to expand graduation pathway options to students. We have created opportunities for students to earn math graduation credit in a real–life application approach for students. With these exciting educational initiatives, we believe and hope these pathways will serve as an opportunity for your child’s college and career post–secondary opportunities.

Please consult with your child’s teacher, advisor, campus counselor, or campus administrator for more information concerning your child’s graduation pathway. You must know your child’s graduation pathway and work collaboratively with their campus team to ensure we collectively own your child’s graduation journey. Additionally, we have a family room dedicated to supporting families in reaching their child’s needs. Please call our school for more information concerning our family room and resources.

Remember that your child’s Attendance is essential to their success and development as a young adult. We need them here with us to continue to cultivate their unique talents. If there are barriers to your child attending with us, please let us know how we can assist you. We have a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) team to help all students and families eliminate barriers to success.

If you need anything, please get in touch with us; we can assist you as needed!

We are looking forward to working with you this year!

In partnership,

Principal Sharonda R. Willingham
